Our commitments in the conduct of our activities

Quality at the heart of our mission

Quality is at the heart of our work and is essential to ensuring reliable results. Our various accreditations reflect our commitment to following controlled procedures and continuously improving our practices. We strive to provide accurate analyses and a trusted service, supporting both patients and healthcare professionals.

Ethics and integrity

At the LNS, we are committed to conducting all our activities in compliance with the highest legal and ethical standards. Integrity, transparency, and accountability are the foundations of our institutional culture.

In accordance with European and national legislation, we have established a secure reporting platform that enables anyone who has obtained information in the course of their professional activities to confidentially report any potential violation of applicable national or European law.

We handle all reports with the utmost diligence. We therefore encourage everyone to use this channel responsibly and solely for the purposes provided for by law. Any inappropriate or deliberately misleading use may result in appropriate action.

Environmental impact

Responsible management of our environmental impact is an integral part of our commitments. As part of this approach, we are proud to hold the SuperDrecksKëscht certificate, which demonstrates our structured approach to waste management in accordance with environmental standards.

This label reflects our daily efforts to sort, reduce, and recover our waste in an efficient and responsible manner. It represents a concrete commitment aimed at minimizing our environmental footprint while complying with applicable regulations.

Equity, diversity and inclusion

We are committed to fostering a culture based on equity, diversity, and inclusion, firmly believing that these values are essential to the well-being and fulfilment of our employees and to the excellence of our public health mission.

In line with the European Commission’s 2020–2025 Gender Equality Strategy, we have developed a Gender Equality Plan (GEP). This plan sets clear objectives, defines measurable actions, and aims to ensure fair practices across all areas of the organisation.

By actively integrating equality into its practices and culture, the LNS is committed to creating an inclusive, equitable, and respectful working environment for everyone.

Our Social and Societal Commitments

Education and Awareness

By making its expertise accessible to all, and particularly to the next generation of healthcare professionals, the LNS is committed to fostering an interest in science, promoting careers in healthcare, and strengthening understanding of public health issues.

Solidarity

For several years, the LNS has been involved in health-related solidarity sports initiatives, such as Relais pour la Vie and Broschtkriibslaf. By actively taking part in these initiatives, we reaffirm our commitment to patients, contributing to disease prevention and improved patient care.

Every initiative we support reflects our commitment to placing patients’ needs at the heart of our priorities, bringing together science, solidarity, and compassion.
